Children’s Ministry at Castle Vale Baptist Church
At Castle Vale Baptist Church, we believe that children are a precious gift from God and that their spiritual training is of utmost importance. We are committed to teaching children the Word of God faithfully, clearly, and without compromise, helping them grow in faith, character, and understanding of God’s truth.
Through our various children’s ministries, we aim to provide a safe, joyful, and Christ-centred environment where children can learn, grow, and build lasting friendships.
Sunday School
Our Sunday School runs every Sunday (except on designated Family Service Sundays). Children are taught the Bible systematically by a dedicated and committed team of teachers, ensuring they receive sound biblical teaching appropriate for their age and stage of understanding.
Our goal is to help children know God personally, understand His Word, and live for Him.
1st Castle Vale Brigade Company (Boys’ Brigade & Girls’ Association)
The 1st Castle Vale Brigade Company is a vibrant ministry for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years.
We provide a nurturing and engaging environment where children can grow in body, mind, and character through a variety of exciting activities.
Our programme includes:
Confidence-building and leadership development
Creative crafts and team projects
Games, sports, and outdoor activities
Community values, teamwork, and kindness
Biblical teaching and faith-building
We meet every Friday during term time from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at:

Holiday Club
Our Holiday Club takes place once every year during summer holidays and is open to children aged 5 to 15 years.
This is an exciting week packed with:
Games and sports
Bible teaching
Singing and worship
Movies and fun activities
Special outings to a zoo or park
Holiday Club is always a wonderful time of learning, laughter, and friendship, giving children a memorable experience while hearing the gospel.
Brigade Camping
We also organise Brigade Camps for children in the Brigade unit. These camps are usually held away from home and may include residential stays.
Camp activities include:
Outdoor adventures and team-building
Games and recreational activities
Bible teaching and devotion times
Fellowship and personal growth opportunities
These camps are designed to strengthen friendships, build resilience, and deepen the children’s understanding of God.
